History: Dagger was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off her debts

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Barber arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
