History: Mantus was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Mantus's homeland. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She was granted druidic powers by her dying brother.
