Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Through the years after Valida was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Valida's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Banker arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Shoemaker like her father before her.
