Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. The war was a terrible time for him, and Vassago does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Lia isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Lia was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
