Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Veloptima hails from a village terrorized by drow. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
