He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Jak was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. William liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Serpent was born with his mother's beautiful face. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Wiggan is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
