History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Hamil was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a shoemaker and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: Erdan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Erdan took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her first spouse was a Marshal, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rurik is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now mingles about in high society.
