Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and doesn't want to be a mercenary and was forced into it by her family

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Detective business.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She was taken from her home at a very young age. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. A true patriot, Merla would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in the east to a Ruler, Kithri learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Cook, but she got bored and became a Ruler. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
