Geva decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Pearl never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
