Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Nalaed was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out
