Personality: He is fixated on the number 9. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Nirgel will drive conversation. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His first spouse was a Herbalist, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He's also a talented Herbalist, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She worked as a nervous Mortician and found it very stressful. She struck the Mortician job and began her own company from there.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
