History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Oppah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She tends to her Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Astar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Agatha took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland.
