Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'10" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears baggy yellow pantaloons and a grey scarf. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He tends to wear a large yellow jacket. He carries a battered scimitar and tarnished shield as well. His long silver hair reaches down to his waist. His gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Born in the north to a Tanner, Ralf learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a sellsword and was forced into it by her family

Description: This man stands a little under 6'8" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is wearing a long, black cloak. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Lûgnak was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.
Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Barkeep. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.
History: She got into the Barkeep business at a young age. She worked as a nervous Barkeep and found it very stressful. She struck the Barkeep job and began her own company from there.
Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears his golden hair up. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dain grew up listening to his father's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Born to a Server, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and many illithids want him driven away

She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her brown hair is thinning but still full. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Dwarven culture. She is afraid of women and trembles around them
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Trym fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

He wears a colorful flower in his blonde hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Roger and his spouse have recently divorced.
