Gardain Goldfinder, Male Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and yellow handkerchief worn on his right side. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has gray eyes and a brown hat with a yellow feather.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: Gardain lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Gardain took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up warhammer and armor he uses now. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
Flaws: Cynical. Bonds: Rich, Family, Nature, Religious. Occupation: Farmer
Voice: Pronounces 'its' and 'is' like 'eats' and 'ease'

Altho Stoutbridge, Male Halfling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he tends to wear a large white jacket. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Altho was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He found a children's book about a Halfling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
