History: She comes from a rich southern family. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gorbundus fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Hugh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things

Raer decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
