Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Thervan was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.

History: Gifted from a young age, Katherine studied abroad. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Katherine grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Katherine. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions
