History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Body Guard arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Body Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Body Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Hupe speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a great chef.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She got into the Detective business at a young age. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She tends to her Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
