Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears a red shirt, with a violet mid length skirt with violet tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. Her silver hair is lengthy. Her eyes are amber and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Verna took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longbow and armor she uses now. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a black coat with green slacks. She has wavy silver hair. Her violet eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: She wears skinny pants and wears a brown and green robe with the hood down. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly hand crossbows and quarterstaffs. Her red hair is still thick. Her eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Gifted from a young age, Aline studied abroad. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aline grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aline. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aline fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He is fixated on the number 48. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Dagger hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and revenge

Personality: Dharg is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'3" when asserting himself. His brown fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Shadow was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and to clean up the streets

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Being a Scribe kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.
