History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Liftrasa was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born into a rich family. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He has styled his silver hair well, parting it to the left. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
