History: Paelias lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Gifted from a young age, Emen studied abroad. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
