He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She got money to start a business from the gang present in town. She is greatly indebted to them.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Doctor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Burgell was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
