During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Thodris lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Melissa was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. Ethereal enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Ethereal liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
