Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gilbert's homeland. Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and to reunite with his absent mother
