History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Mastema and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
