History: He was born in the west. Through the years after Thamior was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Thamior's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Arnold abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Vorka lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Orc artifacts is her passion; and a rival would like her out of the picture

After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nikki grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nikki grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nikki. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is an amazing painter.

History: Eberdeb was born with his mother's beautiful face. When Eberdeb reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Veit is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Banker for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
