History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
