History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Shifting was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shifting's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
