She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Mehen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Barrister. He tends to his Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. After a long history of fighting, Dagnal and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has achieved small success as a Banker.

History: Born in the south to a Carter, Silaqui learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Silaqui was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

Her gold eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: Silaqui wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... A true patriot, Silaqui would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
