Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'11" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. Her black hair is braided into rings. Her green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She works hard and plays hard.
History: Mara was born the youngest of three triplets. Mara liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She bought a warhammer and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a red shirt with thin brown vertical stripes and black pants. With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He is physically well-built. His hair is short and golden. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his top grey hat.
Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Travok was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Sculptor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and revenge

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: Cimer was born with his father's beautiful face. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a spice merchant and was forced into it by his family

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a white coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His brown hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are a pleasant green.
Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Orcs in Prâk's homeland. Prâk decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and an old rival family wants him found

History: He was born in a small island village. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people
