History: Halander hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in greataxe use. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
