Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He feeds upon the attention of others.
History: Brottor was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-elven people

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: Oppleby lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he prefers to wear brown clothing when he does not wear armor. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.
Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: He was born into a rich family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Gilthur took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aelar embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Priest work with an outfit from a few towns over. Priest work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is obsessed with his god.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content
