History: Vaina was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Vaina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Tomph was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to end his boredom

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Rivaan liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's also a talented Weaver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born in the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in the east to a Glassblower, Mardred learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Glassblower. She became a Glassblower soon after.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Being a Brewer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
