History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Riardon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.

History: Born to a Weaver, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'7" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a simple brown robe with yellow stripes complete with hood. His fur is yellow and curly. He has yellow eyes and a brown hat with a yellow feather.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Cloak lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Being a Soapmaker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and regain custody of his son

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during, and a wedding ring on her right hand. She has a very tight haircut. Her eyes are likewise gray. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. A gifted student he started as a Barrister, but he got bored and became a Detective. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a bowyer and was forced into it by his family

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.
