Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Arannis speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Arannis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for her, and Nala does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Nala liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
