History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has achieved small success as a Shipwright.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and balancing her hectic life and new shipwright responsibilities is difficult

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Herleva took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sai and armor she uses now. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
