His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Barendd is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Tawar was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Tawar's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.
History: She was raised in a island tribe. Juliana liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Juliana fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
