She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gaaki was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Gaaki was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gaaki's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gaaki and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Tordrid hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She married young, but lost her spouse to brigands. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
