History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Rurik was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.
