History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Merla was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. After a long history of fighting, Merla and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
