Personality: He is fixated on the number 26. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Rurik alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears long strands of ruby and short pastel dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. She wears a deerstalker hat to hide her balding. This green eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Emerald is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears grey painted combat armor at almost all times. Her brown hair is matted, messy, and big. Her eyes are green and catlike.
Personality: Oriff is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed longsword, just in case. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair is long and brown with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: Gifted from a young age, Rendar studied abroad. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He wears a colorful flower in his chestnut hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mindartis embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mindartis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His first spouse was a Miner, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Luthra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Luthra was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Ruler who has hired her part-time. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Caramip lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She struck the Ruler job and began her own company from there.

History: Tippletoe was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
