Rurik Aranore, Male Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Dwarves. His skin is dark but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. He wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Rurik is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. After coming to the age of reason, Rurik took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Cory Berevan, Male Half-Elf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Cory hails from a village terrorized by giants. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Cory took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
Ideals: Gifted, Justice. Bonds: Poor, Attractive, Enemies, Nature. Occupation: Sage
Voice: Speaks with squeezed throat
