History: Howard was born the youngest of three triplets. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.
