History: She was born into a rich family. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sage.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Melissa alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Melissa was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.
