History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull violet iron scale mail. His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: Born in the west to a Carter, Cockaby learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cockaby grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cockaby. He's also a talented Barrister, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Arumawann alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Bathin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.
Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Dworic is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His first spouse was a Brewer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dworic fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Description: The dark-skinned woman stands 2'8" and tends to wear a red poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her head has been shaved. Her eyes are a pleasant green.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Pearl's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Sage business.
History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Pearl was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Pearl decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Sage kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
