When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has never given up on her writing dream.

To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Korinn. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
