History: Astaro was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She tends to her Fisher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: To be a Shepherd again; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Osco was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Osco's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Koeth was born with his father's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
