History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Soapmaker. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. She has worked as a Soapmaker like her mother before her.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Birel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Birel was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.
