Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is black and curly. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Layabout. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: The child of a Shipwright, who enjoyed hunting, Roondar was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A freak accident while working with her Shoemaker father left her crippled. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.
History: Yurgunn lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Guard, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Yurgunn never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a robe, a symbol of luck around her neck, and a lance on her belt. Her orange fur is unkempt and raggedy. Her hazel eyes peer out from beneath her deerstalker pastel hat.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.
History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cloak fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Personality: Krimmon speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.
