However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

History: She was born in the east. Through the years after Wella was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Wella's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born into a rich family. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now mingles about in high society.
