History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Howard's homeland. Howard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This late middle aged woman prefers to wear flannel and is in decent physical shape. She wears a colorful flower in her chestnut hair. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: The child of a Jeweler, who enjoyed hunting, Ilde was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Body Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Jeweler, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She got into the Barrister business at a young age. A gifted student she started as a Dilettante, but she got bored and became a Barrister. She's also a talented Dilettante, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Ahvain was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A middle-aged man, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, and is pretty ugly. He has wavy silver hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. The war was a terrible time for him, and Broce does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Broce was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
